Manual Tube Puller

TUBE WALL REDUCING TOOL:

The first stage in removal of a tube is the reduction of the rolled portion of the tube in the tube sheet. This tool enables the operation to be performed, the pilot maintaining the alignment in the tube bore. The tube can be removed with the knock out tools

TUBE COLLAPSING TOOL:

These tools are used as collapsing tubes in the tube sheet and are used with either manual hammer or pneumatic hammer.

 
 

TUBE DRIFTS (KNOCKOUT TOOL):

These tools are designed to use either hammer or pneumatic hammer. The pilot diameter is accurately machined to locate in the tube ID whilst the main body of the tools forces the tube away from the tube plate.

Tube Plugs

TUBE PLUGS:

The ring-and-pin type plug is designed to seal off leaking or damaged tubes in heat exchangers and condensers. It ensures a uniform joint without damaging the tube sheet.

These plugs can be supplied in brass, steel or stainless steel for tubes in the range 1/2" (12.7 mms) to 1 1/4" (31.75 mms) O.D.

The solid type tube plug is used to seal off a leaking or damaged boiler tube. Because it is made in one piece it is more robust and will withstand the substantial pressure of the boiler.

These plugs are supplied in steel for tubes in the range 1 1/4" (31.75 mms) to 3" (76.2 mms) O.D.
