When we supply a heat exchanger, we make sure that it's the best you can get. Which is why, every heat exchangers we supply goes through a series of stringent procedures.

Material of Construction -

Shell & Tube Exchangers: Reynolds manufacture heat exchangers with materials like CuNi, Monel, Bronze and Brass, beside Carbon Steel and Stainless Steel. And cladded materials like CS+CuNi, CS+SS, CS+AL Bronze, CS+Monel etc.

Finned Tube Heat Exchangers: Reynolds handle fins of Brass, Copper, Stainless Steel, Nild Steel and Aluminium strips and wires. The core tube could Carbon Steel, Stainless Steel, Copper Steel, Brass or cladded.

Procedure followed -

PROCESS DESIGN

PROCESS DESIGN Almost every Heat Exchanger made at Reynolds is Tailor-made. Customer's specific requirement is studied, related data pertaining to the fluids are checked for the process conditions and then Process Design Calculations are carried out with the aid of COMPUTERS. The engineers on job are well trained and experienced for this important task of designing. While optimizing, they remain very alert in critical aspects like consideration of proper Fouling Factors and evaluating Pressure Drop.

The Process Design department also selects suitable material of construction for various parts of exchangers depending upon process conditions and the nature of the fluid to be handled.

MECHANICAL DESIGN

Once the geometry of an exchanger is fixed, it is handed over to Mechanical Design department. Here, the envisaged unit is made subject to scrutiny for constructional aspects with respect to operational conditions and selecting features such as Expansion Bellow apart from deciding the thickness of parts and laying down guidelines for fabricational procedures and welding requirements.

The Mechanical Designs are carried out in accordance with international codes and standards such as TEMA, ASME, BS, IS, DIN etc.

OIL COOLER Hydraulic Systems (Powerpacks, Presses, etc.), Lubrication Systems, Fluid couplings, Gear Boxes, Transformers, Plastic Moulding Machines, Compressors, Power Plants, Steel Plants.
OIL HEATER Fuel Oil Preheating
WATER/ WATER EXCHANGER D.G.Sets, Induction Furnaces
INTER/ AFTER COOLERS Air Compressors, Gas Compressors for single & multi- stage machines
